Early Tuck's Japanese Geisha Postcard 'Butterflies' 1917

Featuring an illustration by Mortimer Menpes entitled 'Butterflies' this lovely early 20th century English postcard is from Tuck's Oilette 'Fair Japan' Series 1.

Depicting a group of beautiful young Japanese Geisha it is stamped and franked 1917.

The lovely 'Butterflies' sit on the floor quietly conversing and fanning themselves with their fans. A tranquil and charming scene from a time when life was slower and more reserved.

Postally used it is in good vintage condition..
