With a Budapest stamp and franking this lovely Art Deco American postcard was issued by Good Housekeeping Magazine dated 1917.
It depicts a pretty young girl in a large mob cap and night gown, and is by Harrison Fisher (1877-1934), signed lower left.
Entitled 'A Ripening Bud' it is postally used and franked 1921, although the hand dating looks more like 1926.
As with most Fisher artwork she looks a little melancholy.
Issued by Rienthal & Newman, New York it is numbered 868.
With minor corner bumps it is in good condition.
