Unique 'Metamorphosis' 'Virgin Dream' French Postcard 1908.
This truly unique French metamorphosis style postcard is entitled 'Reve d'une Vierge' (the Virgin's Dream)

It looks at first glance to be a young lady in a very large straw hat, decorated with butterflies. On closer inspection however, the butterflies are actually hundreds of men complete with tiny wings. They are offering her flowers, love notes, and gifts of all types. Obviously the quintessential Virgin's dream at the turn of last century!
Postally used to an address in Nancy France, and stamped and franked 1908, it has no publisher or artist details and is in very good Antique condition.
