Antique Edwardian French Signed Sanguine Etching c1910 by Henri Boutet.

French Art Nouveau artist and master etcher Henri Boutet (1851-1919), was known in Paris as 'The Master of the Corset' because his works so captured the femininity of the Parisienne woman. From the humble shop girl to women of fashion, he captured their sensuality and coquetishness.

Typically this exquisite simple etching is titled 'Femme au Corset'. Its' simple lines feature a beautiful young woman in the process of undoing her corset.

Part of a series executed in 1910 it is signed by the artist lower left, has a deep plate mark and is in good Antique condition.

Measuring just 3 3/4" x 5 1/2" including the small margins, it would look stunning paired with my other sanguine etching of the same size by Boutet..RP263
