Early German Signed Mermaid and Hero Postcard.

Dating to the early part of the 20th Century this lovely artist postcard is signed simply A K.

Captioned 'Andersens Malchen Das Meerweibchen' it depicts a lovely shy young mermaid sitting by a pool below a marble statue of a fish. She is secretly watching a handsome young man as he feeds the swans.

Postally un-used and in very good condition it is published by B K W I in Austria and numbered 435-1
