Christmas Beautiful Italian Renaissance Artist Angel Postcard.

This exquisite Italian Angel postcard is by Renaissance painter Melozzo da Forli (1438-1494). With it's Angelic theme it would make a wonderful Christmas gift.

It depicts a beautiful winged Angel holding a branch of Lily and is entitled Angelo Annunziante.

Many of da Forli's works are to be found in the Vatican but this one is from the Uffizi Gallery in Florance.

It is un-signed by the artist, but signed E Gattai copio, lower left.

Published by Proprieta Artistica E Sborgi, Firenze, it is numbered 477 and postally un-used.

The condition is very good with one tiny corner bump lower left and album marks verso.
