Entitled 'Donnerstag', or Thursday in German, this 19th Century Postcard was published in Hamburg by Kimmelstiel.
With an early undivided back it is postally unused and in very good condition with minor album bumping to the lower left corner.
By H Frundt and dated abg, 1899 it depicts a lovely young woman standing serenely holding a bunch of flowers while a storm complete with lightning rages behind her. Thursday is the day of Thor the thunder God after all.
