Antique Australian Crystal and Rhinestone Necklace

From a West Australian Estate comes this unique Crystal and Rhinestone necklace.

Each Crystal is separately wired (no string) with brass loops. 14 multi-faceted 'round' Crystals are joined by 4 elongated 16 sided Crystal beads and highlighted by 2 small and 1 large rondelles of brass studded with Rhinestones.

You really can see why the Crystals are sometimes named Aurora Borealis ~ they flash multi colored fire in all directions~ and I have tried to capture this phenomenon in my pictures.

The silvertone clasp is a newer addition. The Crystal beads show signs of wear and some stones are spaced a little but they are in good condition for their age and this does not detract from the beauty of the necklace.

Length 15". Large rondelle 6/8".

C1900 this is a truly special piece for the collector.
