This signed Napier, vintage 1960s Napier three-dimensional bracelet is phenomenal in its simple modernist design, with three-dimensional gold plated cups adorned with huge clear crystals in their centers. This awesome bracelet was part of a very limited edition line of jewelry, particularly because the awesome stones themselves, dubbed "hope diamonds", were a small limited edition and Napier bought the entire small production!
This gold plated bracelet is featured on page 383 of the very impressive book, "The Napier Company: DEFINING 20th CENTURY AMERICAN COSTUME JEWELRY" by Melinda Lewis & Henry Swen (See last photo). Bracelet is valued at $225-$275 in this 2013 publication.
Bracelet width is 1 3/8" inches with 22mm clear stones in each of the five "cups". Cups are linked by wide, flat bar links and large round jump rings. Closure is Napier's signature large spring ring clasp, signed "NAPIER" on the inset curved bar. Bracelet's wearable length is 7.5" inches. Excellent condition!
NOTE: I also have the matching Hope Diamond drop earrings (RL-4045) and the sapphire blue Hope Diamond cocktail ring from this design series in my shop (RL-4154)!
