Sango Debutante Early 1970's Coffee Service Set for 6 ~ Discontinued Pattern

This marked Sango of Japan, Debutante (3688) coffee service set is a discontinued pattern, dating to the early 1970's. This delicate pattern features white china with gold/yellow flowers, green leaves and scrolls, with a platinum or silver edge trim. The set includes the rare-to-find coffee pot, sugar bowl with lid, creamer, as well as six cups and saucers. Replacements Ltd. online would charge $199 for this same set. Excellent condition; no chips, cracks or missing pattern/trim. All pieces are hallmarked on bottom or back side, "Sango China, Japan, Debutante, 3688" with a scrolled letter "S" inside a grey oval shape. DRCC 104-2014

1. Coffee pot 9” tall with lid, 10” handle to spout 3.5” wide at base

2. Sugar Bowl & Lid - 3.25” tall w/o lid, 4.5” tall w/lid, 4” across/wide

3. Creamer - 4.5” tall, 4.75” wide from spout to handle, 2.25” across base

4. Six cups & six saucers - saucer 6” across, cup 3” tall, about 2” across cup base
