This early Art Deco era, antique 1910 set is a beautiful hand-painted floral motif and gold porcelain creamer and covered sugar bowl made by Zeh Scherzer China Company of Bavaria, Germany.
Pink blooming roses with tufts of green leaves are further adorned with gold foil laurel garland, draped to form figure eights on the rims. Gold foil accents on two handled sugar and one handle creamer. Top of sugar has fleur-de-lys type design with laurel garland.
Creamer measures 2.25" high X 3 7/8" across the base. Sugar measures 2.25" inches high without lid. 3.5" inches with lid. Sugar measures 4.25" across base. Bottom of both pieces are stamped in green "ZS & Co. Bavaria". Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or flea bites and only a teensy bit of wear to the gold designs on the pattern.
