This highly detailed, pressed light green glass round serving plate boasts a ten-pointed star in its center, surrounded by a criss-cross design, leaf-embellished scrolls and tendrils, as well as petaled daisy flowers. Outside edge of this 12 inches round floral motif plate is tear drop shaped hobnail or sawtooth.
Tiara serving plate, circa mid-1980, sandwich pattern; color called "Chantilly", like green apple Jolly Ranchers hard candy!
Tiara Exclusives opened in 1970, the spin-off of the Indiana Glass Company. Tiara purchased the molds of the Indiana Glass company and handmade the glass for the home party industry. Tiara Exclusives closed its doors in November 1998. Since their glassware was not sold in retail stores, some of the pieces are getting harder and harder to find.
This thick, heavy plate weighs close to 4 pounds. Excellent condition; no cracks, chips or flea bites. This is a great piece to use for entertaining, as well as for interior decorating purposes and display. When the light shines through it, it's even prettier! DRCC 27-2014
