Napier's premiere designer, Eugene Bertolli, designed these huge beauties for the Ann Miller collection in 1962. Boasting clear narrow navettes and gorgeous marquis stones around a rectangular cushion cut ruby red stone, these dramatic drops measure 2.75" inches long (1.25" wide). All stones are prong set in shiny, rhodium plated silver tone. 25 clear stones adorn each earring.
This stunning pair of earrings is featured in Melinda Lewis' tome of a book, The Napier Company: DEFINING 20th CENTURY AMERICAN COSTUME JEWELRY (See last 2 photos), page 359.
Back of clips are hallmarked "Napier" with the copyright symbol. Absolutely pristine condition!
