This large, impressive pair of Napier signed earrings are vintage 1950s, gold plated, with three pagoda shaped bells in graduating sizes that tinkle with about 40 elongate tear drop shaped charms, and interspersed with gold plated round ball beads. Earrings measure 3.25" inches long X 1" inch at their widest point.
Inside back of lever clips are hallmarked "NAPIER" without the copyright symbol, dating them to before 1955. This chic, Asian motif pair is also featured in Melinda Lewis' fabulous book on page 444 (Later 1970s version): "The Napier Co.: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry"....and I have them with just the chiming bells in my shop, too (RL-4047). Double Wow!
