This Art Deco silver metal, signed Thermax Landers, Frary & Clark waffle iron is vintage 1930s, with green bakelite handles. Love its sleek Art Deco design! It is in great working condition...I do have the plug-cord that fits this model E36904, and it is in wonderful condition (See 3rd photo).
It takes a few minutes to heat up, but then it steams away and is more than ready to make the best waffles! I sprayed down the surface with Pam Cooking Spray, and it made the perfect waffle in 2 minutes. 108/116 Volts and 660 Watts. Patented 18 1924.
Things to know if you will be using this waffle iron: Be generous with the cooking spray, and slip a paper towel in between the griddles (after it's totally cooled off) before storing. Very good condition; I polished all the chrome, so it's looking shiny and attractive!
Bottom of waffle maker is hallmarked on a riveted metal plate: THERMAX, Landers, Frary & Clark, New Britain, Conn., U.S.A. DRCC 11-2014
