This 1.5" inches wide Chinese Silver bracelet features an interesting abstract figural design, as well as high dome round genuine turquoise cabochons, bezel set in a raised filigree setting, among Chinese characters, flowers and very detailed scroll work.
The center, highly curved panel measures 2 3/8" inches long, and it is flanked on both sides by 1.75" inches long panels, which could be interpreted as beetles, moths, lobsters, or some other exotic creature!
This fabulous bracelet was purchased in the 1930's by my client's grandfather, Captain Ben, who was a merchant marine. He carefully stored his collection away, never worn, so this bracelet is in mint condition.
Wearable length is 7" inches. Push in clasp is hallmarked "Silver" on the back and there is a hook safety chain. Bracelet weighs in at an impressive 50 grams. Original patina intact....never been polished; mint, unworn condition. Wow!!
