Trifari 1965 Fashion Blossom Poured Glass Pendant Necklace & Earring Set

This lovely set of poured white milk glass petal flower pendant necklace and earring set hails from Trifari's 1965 magazine advertisement, dubbed "Fashion Blossoms" and named as dogwood flowers. The ad boasts, "from our garden of jewels" and "In the foreground of fashion" (See 2nd photo). The $5 pair of earrings would cost $36 today and the $9 necklace would be $66, calculated for inflation from 1965 to 2013. The molded white glass is bezel set in gold plate and dangles from a fancy curl at the top.

Necklace pendant measures 3" inches long and wearable necklace length is 15" inches. Articulated, gold plated necklace strand has crown over "T" charm. Clip-back earrings measure 1.75" inches x 7/8" of an inch. Designer signed Trifari with the trademark crown over the letter T.

This design was patented by Alfred Philippe for Trifari; the brooch/pendant #160333 issued Oct. 3, 1950 and for the bracelet, #160423 dated Oct. 10, 1950.
