This vintage 1940s, signed Napier brooch is a molded glass maple leaf, prong set in gold plated sterling silver, accented with a single white faux pearl. This neat and rare-to-find piece is featured in Melinda's Lewis' awesome book, The Napier Company: Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry. Measures 2" inches tall X 2" inches wide. Back of brooch is hallmarked "Napier Sterling" with the copyright symbol. It is in very good to excellent condition, only flaw is some very minor wear to the gold plating, mostly on the back.
