This fairly rare-to-find vintage 1970 charm bracelet and earring set, called "Wedding Bell" and designed by Eugene Bertolli for Napier, features brush textured gold plated bells with clear crystal bead clappers.
This 1970 charm bracelet is featured on page 445 of of this impressive book, "The Napier Company, Defining 20th Century American Costume Jewelry" by Melinda L. Lewis with Henry J. Swen, just published this year (2013). See 2nd photo. Bracelet alone is valued at $175-$225.
The bells themselves measure 1.25" inches tall X nearly 1" inch wide across the opening. An 8mm round faceted clear cyrstal is suspended from a gold plated rod or tube inside. Top of each bell has a petaled, silver tone filigree bead cap for an elegant detail. The bracelet has thick, swirly, gold plated, oval links and has a wearable length of 7.75" inches.
The earrings each measure 2.5" inches long. Back of clips are hallmarked "Napier Pat. Pend.". The bracelet's large spring ring clasp is signed "Napier". All three pieces are in pristine, excellent condition. The crystals make a great tinkling sound inside the bells. Neat!
