Vendome 1960's Clam Shell Rhinestone Cocktail Ring

This is one of the most highly sought after 1960's Vendome cocktail ring designs and rarer to find. A textured, shiny gold tone petal unfolds to reveal a rhinestone encrusted center, rich and warm in orange and brown hues of topaz, amber and citrine, all pave set in japanned black.

The gold tone finish is in pristine, excellent condition. The head of the ring measures 1 1/8" inches X just below 1" inch. It rises a little more than 1/2" an inch from the finger.

The band is adjustable from ring sizes 5-8 US, and the slide band is square-shaped, ensuring the ring to stay in a level position on the top of your finger. This classic ring is stamped Pat. 2,961,855 (for the square band) on the inside of the ring band and hallmarked "Vendome" under the domed setting. It is in really excellent condition. This runway-worthy, vintage cocktail ring always get noticed!
