1950's Cardinal Bird Decoupage Box Purse

The purse measures 9" in length, 5" in width and 5" in height. An off-white, cream background is adorned with puffy decoupage cardinal birds and spring dogwood flowering tree branches. The interior has a plush white lining with heavy green brocade trim. Exterior has brass hinges and closure, and is carried by a graceful, curved bronze tortoise lucite handle and protected on the base by four rounded brass feet. The condition is very good with some edge wear on the background finish. It's a real conversation piece!
