VERY RARE Monet 1966 Gold Filigree Shoulder Duster Earrings

These amazing, 4.75" inches in length, Monet signed earrings were featured in 1966 advertisements in Vogue and Harper's Bazaar magazines (See 2nd photo). From 1963-1968, the ads were titled, "jewelry in the golden manner of Monet".

Monet's line of exotic ads from the mid- to late 1960's showed alluring women with sheer veils draped over their heads, wearing huge earrings and pendant necklaces in intricate, shiny gold tone filigree designs.

This pair has three cantilevered parts, dripping from a large floral blossom design at the ear stud. They are fairly lightweight and are fitted with Monet's comfort clips, that clip on nicely and stay on your ear lobes. They are in excellent condition. Each clip is hallmarked "Monet" on the back with the copyright symbol. These are VERY RARE and extraordinary!
