Trifari 1968 Bee Hornet Bug Pin ~ Magazine Ad Piece
The 1968 magazine advertisement (See 2nd photo) for this hornet bee pin read, "Mary, Mary, quite Trifari...let your garden grow into a complete collection of fabulous flowers pins with a bee, a butterfly, and a dragonfly to hover over them, all in gleaming golden toned Trifanium. Isn't nature wonderful?" This bee pin boasts an emerald green glass cabochon for its head, and its body and wings are done in brushed matte with shiny gold tone accents on the wing edges, legs, antennae and abdomen. It measures 1 3/4" X 1 1/4" inches. It is hallmarked "Trifari" with the copyright symbol on the back. It is in excellent condition.
