Har 1950's Cornucopia Brooch ~ Thanksgiving

This vintage 1950's Har Cornucopia is crescent-shaped (or yummy croissant-shaped, too!) and filled with detailed, gold tone leaves and a and silver tone branch that sparkles nicely, adorned with pave set, clear round chaton rhinestones. This elegant, figural horn of plenty piece measures 2" inches long X 1 3/8" inches wide.

The matching earrings, which I have had in the past, are hallmarked "Har" on the back of one of the silver tone leaves, but the brooch is unsigned. See last 3 photos. This Har cornucopia brooch is in excellent condition.

Har was made by the Hargo Company of New York (1955-1967). Author and collector Julia Carroll says Har pieces are a "great investment" in her book, Costume Jewelry 101.
