Kenneth Jay Lane for The Franklin Mint 1972 Christmas Tree Pin ~ Mint in Box!

This exquisite tree is 24 karat gold plate with a green enamel overlay and adorned with fine Austrian crystals in red, blue, green, rose and purple hues. A star on top with a clear crystal and a gold bow tied around the trunk complete this couture designer Christmas tree pin.

This VERY tree will also be featured in Jill Gallina's upcoming book publication, "Christmas Pins Past and Present, 3rd Edition"!

This brooch is also featured in Nancy Towbridge's book, Christmas Tree Pins, on page 57. It has also gained distinction by being worn by one of the main characters (Peggy) on the AMC TV show, Mad Men! See last photo of her wearing this same tree at the office Christmas party!

The tree measures 2 3/8" inches tall X 1 5/8" inches at its widest point. It is hallmarked "FM - USA" for The Franklin Mint on the back. It is in mint, unworn condition in the original box with all the paperwork.
