AWESOME Butterscotch & Red Cherry Bakelite Buckle
This vintage 1940's belt buckle is crafted from thick creamy slabs of caramel or butterscotch bakelite, along with 3D cherry red bakelite "gumballs" for a real pop of vivid color! It measures 2 7/8" X 1 3/4" inches. Butterscotch slabs are 1/8" or 4mm thick. Cherry red balls measure 5/8" of an inch or 15mm across. The entire piece is in pristine, excellent condition, even the silver tone metal buckle and clip on the back! This could also be converted into a brooch, hair barrette or turned into a clasp for a really neat bakelite necklace. Neat!
