Tancer II "Figure Eight" Christmas Tree Pin ~ Book Piece!
This crossed rope loop topiary Christmas tree pin is featured on page 142 of Nancy Trowbridge's Christmas Tree Pins book, without the dangling crystals, however! This one has this neat, added touch of sparkle! Eight tiers of figure-eighted, twisted gold tone ropes loop around to form the evergreen boughs, highlighted by 13 rhinestone ornaments in festive hues of emerald green, ruby red and color-changing aurora borealis clear. Two 6mm ruby red, faceted crystals dangle on either side of the fancy pot at the bottom of the tree. This elegant holiday tree stands 3 1/8" inches tall X 1 3/4" inches at its widest point. Back of the trunk stem is hallmarked "Tancer II" with the copyright symbol. I would say this one hails from the late 1960's. It is in perfect, excellent condition!
