Fantastic antique grapevine adorned narrow oval serving tray in quadruple silverplate, made by L.A. LITTLEFIELD SILVER CO. This gorgeous tray is in excellent condition with no silver wear or loss. Beautiful bunches of grapes and detailed grape leaves and vines cover the entire perimeter of the tray's lip.
L.A. Silverfield Silver Co. were makers of high-grade silverplated holloware items. The firm was established in 1884 by Needham and L.A. Littlefield in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The firm became Littlefield Silver Co in 1905 and moved to Rockford, IL. In 1909 it was consolidated with the Rockford Silver Plate Co.
This narrow oval service tray measures 13" inches long X 6 1/2" inches wide, and its depression measures 8" X 3 1/2" inches, and weighs 1 pound, 1 ounce, and it is hallmarked on the bottom with L.A. LITTLEFIELD SILVER CO., the pattern number 1410 and Quadruple Plate.
