1940's: Royal Doultons " Sweet and Twenty " by Leslie Harradine

Leslie Harradine (1887 - 1965 ) worked for Royal Doulton for many years as a free lance artist and designer out of his home studio.Leslie's pieces for some reason have always capture my attention. This wonderful piece is titled "Sweet and Twenty" and was in production from 1928 until it was retired in 1969.This family piece is marked HN.1298 with the company backstamp used from 1945-1959.She is in remarkable condition without any flaws and the colors are bright and clear. She measures 5 3/4" tall,7 1/2" long and 5" deep.FYI, there was also a HN1549 which is exactly the same except her dress colors matched that of her fan and ran from 1933-1949.
