Eames Era: " The Cheese Stands Alone " by Couroc

This vintage cheese board always brings a smile with it's whimsical theme.Made by the Couroc Company that was founded in 1948 in Monterey California.Founders Guthire Sayle Couirvoisier and Moira Wallace( an artist in mosaic design ) stopped production of their wares in 1970.The raised hardwood cutting surface is made from New England Sugar Maple. The jet black tray has five mice encircling the cheeseboard that were hand cut and laid in a mosaic design. This fabulous and fun cheese board measures 14" round and is in mint condition without any scratches or dings or damage.Comes with the original sticker, probably never used.Your guests will probably remember this serving piece as much as any offering you place upon it.
