*1905: Gentlemen's Platinum & 14K Gold Fruit Knife/Fob
This heirloom gentleman's pocket knife is simply lovely.Engraved on the bale is PLAT.on 14K.. Two bladed which sadly on of the blades appears to be broken off but has been smoothed out.The half blade is marked with R inside a C the makers mark for Currier and Roby of New York. They specialized in small high quality pieces and costume made pieces such as this fob. A 14K gold medallion is centered on the front with the initials,FBS in a beautiful script.This most elegant piece measures 2 3/4' long and 1/2' wide.Ladies I have worn this as a pendent and it has always gotten the attention it deserves.
