1952: First Edition," Petunia's Christmas " by Roger Duvoisin

Robert Duvoisin ( 1904 - 1980 ) was the author and illustrator of more than 40 children's books that have been read to children all over the world. The most well loved where those that brought animals to life with wonderful silly personalities and endearing illustrations.The most popular character though was a goose " Petuina " which was published in 1950. As time went by six more stories were added in her honor.This 1952 first edition was the 3rd in the series.It is in good condition with some scuffing to cloth cover,a bit of light added coloring to to footprints in the snow on title page and some remnants old glue were an old bookplate was once attached. Other than that it is in very good condition without tares or markings.Cover and binding are tight,colors bright.A nice example to add to your library of children's books or Christmas stories collection.
