Another wonderful old sterling souvenir spoon with wonderful detail and deeply embossed. This one depicting ," The Old Stone Mill " located in Touro Park, Newport Rhode Island.Theory and carbon testing date this old stone tower to around 1635 - 1698 and is believed to have been built by Norsemen. It is one of the oldest man made structures in the United States. The spoons finial displays a slanted anchor with HOPE on the front and the letter "R" in script on the back. The bowl shows a deeply embossed and pebbled detailing of The Old Stone Mill or New Port Tower. The back of the spoons handle has the marking of H.A.
