1960's: " Erin in Summer " Oil on Board

This beautiful 1960's vintage oil on board was painted by an unlisted artist by the name of Pat McKean of San Francisco California. I just feel in love with it many years ago at an estate sale here in Florida.It was framed at the time but the frame was damaged and I threw it out, meaning to have it re-framed one day.With too much on the walls already, I am offering it up.It is one of the most serene oils I have seen in a while. It is a wonderful landscape titled "Erin in Summer ", with both warm and cool colors. The various application of paint give this piece texture, depth and life.It was painted on Grumbacher Canvas Board and there is some surface water stain on the back of board as shown in photo.Other than that it is one incredible work of art. This piece measures 16" x 20".
