1885 - 1900: Lake George Sterling Souvenir Spoon

F.W. Sim and Company Silversmiths was located in Troy ,New York. They were makers of sterling souvenir spoons mostly dealing with hunting,fishing and the outdoors.They were in business from 1885 until 1900.This 4 1/2" silver spoon depicts Lake George in New York with a detailed picture of Rogers Slide and a men rowing a boat as a women sits idly by with a umbrella. A nice fish with water vegetation finish off the spoon handle. The back has an engraved J E R in script.The back reads Sterling,patent applied for and F.W. Sim & Co. with their hallmark.
