*1920's: Art Deco Perfume Bottle

When any of my siblings or cousins married my grandfather the Lord of House and Lost and Found let us each pick out an item from the Manor.I of course picked out my grandmothers dressing table which had been a wedding gift from him to her.Growing up every time I could I would sit in front of it and gaze at it's beauty. No one married before had ever picked out anything so grand. When I requested this piece he replied he would have to think about it.A week latter I received my request and everything upon it and inside it's drawers! This incredible large glass perfume decanter is the epitome of Art Deco design and style!Simple, sleek, geometric and clean with an fantastic architectural design. The impressive 5" stopper sits in a 6 1/2" wide rectangular base, which gives it a total height of 7 1/2". There is a broken chip on the lip of the bottle as shown in photos that measures 1" x 3/4" but with the massive stopper in place, well it pretty much hides it.A wonderful prism show every time the light hits it and an elegant design not often seen!
