*Circa 1890's: Reed and Barton Sterling Silver Scent Box,Engraved " A "

This elegant sterling silver box comes to us from Taunton Massachusetts,Henry G. reed,Charles E.Burton and the turn of the century!Completely decorated on both the front and the back with pierced out little trumpet flowers set amongst a swirling floral motif.Front center is a lovely letter A in script. It's use was for either holding aromatic scents or as a calling card case. However you decide to utilize it ,it is exquisite.In very good condition and measures 3" x 2" and is fully hallmarked.
