Rossetti Chicago Occupied Japan Spring Violets Cup and Saucer, 1945 to 1952

This very beautiful Occupied Japan cup and saucer was made for the Rossetti company in Chicago. It has a lovely "Spring Violets" decoration on the inside and outside of the cup and all around the saucer. There is a gold fluted rim, and the cup has a definite foot. This set is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or wear.

The previous owner received this as a gift on 8/12/1972 and put tape on the back of the saucer to indicate that. I have left the tape in place, as it is rather quaint and can be removed by the buyer if desired. I know who the previous owner of the cup and saucer was and will include the information with the set if desired. There is another piece in this pattern available. Please see my other porcelain items for sale.
