Vintage Creed Sterling Head of Christ Pendant - 11 Grams

This classic rendering of the head of Christ is finely crafted by Creed and is similar to the one I gave Johnny Termite in 1968. It retains much of the original satin finish with patina just beginning to form in the crevices of the deep casting. The details are crisp and clear throughout, including the Creed hallmark and copyright on the verso. The luster cuts on the crown of thorns are a nice contrast to the satin finish.

While of these medals came with a continuous loop silver tone chain, this one has a similarly styled flat link chain (20 inches) that is marked "Sterling" on the clasp. I have not cleaned or polished this beauty and will leave it to the new owner.
