1960's Designer Beaded Evening Gown by Darieux, Paris-New York

Made of 100% silk and hand beaded the workmanship is remarkable. The style and workmanship date this dress to the mid to late 1960's. Since I, nor some very well vintage educated colleagues can find anything pertaining to this label, I am confident it is quite rare. It truly has to been seen to be fully appreciated. The waist band is a full five inches wide and is tapered to create a stunning fit.

The lining is slit up the back for ease of movement. All of the beads are perfectly intact and are faux pearls and smoky clear bugle beads. There is, however, a snag on the front of the gown. It does not take away from the beauty of this gown at all.

Red carpet worthy, this is one dress you won't see someone else showing up at the same event in!
