Exceptional antique Georgian Brooch of Rose Diamonds, Pearls, Gold and Silver. Dating to the early 19th Century, Georgian period, circa 1830. The antique Pearl & Rose Diamond Brooch is designed in a Botanical Form; possibly Lily of the Valley Flower, with the Pearls being the flowers. Is an exceptionally beautiful piece, tremendous workmanship and in fine condition. Even prettier in person. Common to Georgian Diamond Jewelry, the Diamond and Pearl Brooch is made of both Gold and Silver. Silver on the top and Gold on the bottom. The border of very sparkly Rose Cut Diamonds surround the center row of whole round Pearls. Pearls and Diamonds of various sizes----both graduated in size as the form of the piece tapers. Very pretty Pearls, very lustrous and are mounted on posts. The antique Georgian Diamond & Pearl Brooch measures 2 3/8" long x 5/16" wide, at its widest point. Is a fantastic example of early 19th Century Diamond & Pearl Jewelry. Unique and exceptional in every way.
