Antique PEARL & EMERALD Earrings - 14k Gold / Baroque Pearls / c1890

Gorgeous pair of antique Baroque Pearl Earrings, large and lustrous, each with a green Emerald imbedded into them and date to the late 19th Century (circa: 1890). The Pearls are a gorgeous lustrous white color with a beautiful organic form (Baroque Pearl). Near the edges are areas of warmer white, which is typical of Baroque Pearls. The Emeralds are a rich green color and are mounted inside a gold rim (bezel set). And like the Pearls, are well matched in color. The Pearls measure approximately 1/2" in diameter, though are somewhat oblong. They have pierced posts and can be worn in an direction. The 14K Gold Earring backs have been replaced over the years. The Earrings are in beautiful, fine condition. The antique 14K Gold, Emerald and Baroque Pearl Earrings show very well in the photos. Photographs taken with and without a camera flash.
