Antique Colored Print Semi-Nude Woman with Angel - Signed

This is a very pretty Victorian print. It is of a semi-nude woman looking her her image in the mirror while fixing her hair with an Angel looking towards her with flowers in hand. There is a signature in the lower left corner which appears to be Jalbert Begen - it is pretty hard to decipher so it could be Began or Beyan, there is also a year under the name - 1887. The print seems to be in excellent shape - it is matted and under glass. The print measures 7" X 8" and the matte is gold in color. The wooden frame is gold gilt gessoed with some scuffs, cracks and some missing gesso. Size of the frame is 12 1/4" X 13 1/2". There is a label on the book that reads as follows: Alexander McCune, Prop. Established 1868 McCune's Gallery of Art 10 and 12 N. Thirteenth St., Philadelphia, PA Looking Glass and Picture Frame Manufacturer. Great addition for your collection.
