Vintage Watercolor Impressionist Painting by Vermont Artist

This is a nice vintage watercolor painting. It is from the Estate of Frederick J. Wilder of Vermont. Wilder was the son of listed American Artist Arthur Wilder. Arthur Wilder clearly had a strong influence on his Son's style of Painting. Together Father and Son traveled to Europe in 1924. Perhaps this trip also helped to build the influence seen in Fredericks style of painting. This Artwork was purchased at an on site Estate Auction on the late Artists property. Although it is not signed it is clearly his work. It is framed, matted and under glass, one can see some pencil marks on the right hand side of the painting where the artist has sketched. Art measures 13" X 8 3/4", the wooden frame (which has some scuffing) measures 19 3/4" X 15 1/2".
