Just a Magnificent Porcelain Art Heirloom Treasure ~ A Stunning Large LIMOGES FRANCE Painting on a wonderful vase - Outstanding Piece of Artwork ~ This is an Absolutely BREATHTAKING Museum Statement Piece ~ An exceptional dramatic rendering of the most beautiful Roses! Both collectors and decorators will find this beauty very desirable and an excellent investment. Gorgeous VICTORIAN FRENCH HAND PAINTED ROSES ~ It is a CREME DE LA CREME example of late 19th, early 20th Century American porcelain art, in the naturalistic floral style which was taught by old master porcelain artists and art professors: Franz A. Bischoff, Franz B.Aulich and George Leykauf, among others. This particular piece of fine art was painted by the Artist "Hammeg, 1907" who clearly studied the work of these great teachers, or perhaps was a student and was taught by one of the master's himself. A Stunning Luminous Portrait of this favorite of all garden flowers.......... This Masterful Portrait of Gorgeous Dramatic Hand Painted Roses is true visual decadence, with so many variations of shadow tones, it is nearly impossible to describe each one. With every stroke of the brush, gorgeous petals come to life with such fluttering depth. Each rose, fine leaf, and stem is painted with the utmost delicacy creating an utterly breathtaking still life palette ~ one can almost smell their intense piercing fragrance. The Artist has truly captured these wonderful roses in full bloom in a gorgeous garden settting, china painted in the naturalistic floral art style which was taught by the great old masters of American porcelain artistry around the Turn-of-the-Century. The leaves and branches are exquisite, painted in wonderful bold and brilliant shades. The Gorgeous Background shades are Breathtaking ~ You will Definitely and Absolutely be Overwhelmed by this piece ~ it is Exceptional beyond words.............. A truly Remarkable and Outstanding piece to add to your collection. This particular piece is perhaps the "Finest" and the Most Exquisite "One-of-a-Kind" Paintings that I have had the pleasure to own. A most exquisite and graceful floral art composition upon a LARGE Antique hand painted Limoges Vase. This Beauty measures an IMPRESSIVE AND STUNNING 20 1/2" tall by 8 3/4" in diameter at the base. Overall Condition of this piece is EXCELLENT to MINT CONDITION ~ no chips, cracks, hairlines, paint loss, or surface scratches (does not have a cork to plug the bottom if you wish to use as a vase you will need to get a cork). This piece bears the William Guren mark in green with France, circa 1900 - 1932. William Guerin - During the early 1870s, William Guerin became the owner of the Utzschneider porcelain factory in Limoges, where he had been the director. The firm carried on a large export business. Most Guerin-marked china which is found on the American market is in the form of white wares decorated by American china painters or factory decorated table china. Relatively few factory-decorated art objects are found with the exception of some vases. Please email me if you have any questions or would like to see additional photos.
