Gorgeous VICTORIAN HAND PAINTED ROSES ~ It is a CREME DE LA CREME example of late 19th, early 20th Century American porcelain art, in the naturalistic floral style which was taught by old master porcelain artists and art professors: Franz A. Bischoff, Franz B.Aulich and George Leykauf, among others. This particular piece of fine art was painted by the Artist " M Dirkmann" who clearly studied the work of these great teachers, or perhaps was a student and was taught by one of the master's himself. A Stunning Luminous Portrait of this favorite of all garden flowers.......... This is the most stunning Royal Bonn vases I have ever had the pleasure to acquire. It bears the Royal Bonn mark dating this piece to circa 1836 or after. It clearly rivals the artistic talent found on any Limoges, Belleek or Pickard hand painted item! This vase is large at 15" tall. It has many marking including the "crown and shield mark", the impressed roundel mark, the "W crown" impressed mark and the decorators #'s and date markings This vase is in great condition especially considering its age! The colors are vibrant and crisp. There is not a flake, flea bite, chips, flea bite, cracks, spider or hairlines. There is the normal crazing inside the vase but is not seen on the exterior of the vase.
Whether you collect Royal Bonn, Limoges, Pickard, Belleek or any other high-end quality hand painted porcelain, this vase would take center stage among your treasures. Please contact us for any questions you may have.
