Carved Oak Waterbury Minstrel Weight Driven Clock
This is a very unique carved Waterbury clock depicting a minstrel group "doing their thing" The clock is 28" high, 27" wide and has a 13" dial. The weights are hanging on the original ladder chains which have the usual oak acorns at the ends of the chains. The works were professionally cleaned a few years ago and the clock works perfectly. The three men depicted are all wearing their great old hats, the one on the left is playing a 14" long clarinet, on the right he is playing a 21" guitar, and the gap-toothed gent in the middle is the singer. The case is in its original finish, and the clock keeps perfect time
