This is a wonderful small oak stand with a really unique shape. It is 20 1/2" tall and the six sided top is 19 3/4 in diameter. Supporting the top is a wonderfully serpentine unusual six sided form ending in a point 5" off the floor. It has three legs, 12 1/2" long which have a lion head at the top and a claw foot at the bottom. A very rare and unusual shape and form of construction in American quartersawn oak. It was restored at some point in its life, and is in near perfect condition. ca 1900.
