Figural Porcelain Lamp

Here we offer a charming miniature banquet lamp often referred to as a "junior" lamp . The entire lamp is decorated in a lovely shade of green adorned with flowers and two female cherubs or nymphs with light brown hair and matching decorated skirts. The lamp stands approx. 11" in height and it is missing the top lighting fixture for kerosene. Someone at one time probably intended to have the piece converted for electric and did not finish the process. The lamp is circa 1880's, probably Dresden, Germany. There is a number 59 located on the bottom in a reddish brown color, otherwise no makers mark. Condition: top kerosene fixture missing as stated above, 2 flowers missing with very minor leaf and floral chips. The various porcelain imperfections are normal for age and do not detract from the piece. There is no noted cracks or other damage.
