Nippon Bon Bon Dish #47 mark Mountains & Lake

A charming Nippon bon bon dish in lovely shades of purple with birds in the sky over a lake and trees with mountains in the back. It measures 6" long and about 2' deep. Marked on the bottom with the green" M" wreath mark 'Nippon Hand Painted' backstamp used from 1911 until 1921. The "M" for "Morimura" in a wreath, the words "Hand Painted " above and " NIPPON " below. Referred to as the '#47 mark' by collectors. "Circa:1911-1921. "Condition: Very Good, no chips, cracks, or hairlines. Normal minor gold wear at the top edges, the lake scene is still very bright and vivid with no scratches or wear.
